"Return to the Sea" is a charming book written in rhyme that tells the story of a little girl and her family's vacation along the eastern coast of Canada. Although many interesting places and landmarks are enjoyed—the covered bridge in Hartland, New Brunswick, historic Quebec City, the port of Halifax, and much more—the highlight of the trip is Grandma and Grandpa's cottage. This story is a companion to "East to the Sea," and addresses curriculum outcomes related to Social Studies 3 within the context of Provincial Identity, and GCO C in Health Education 3. |
